Lucknow Christian Degree College
The Lucknow Christian College is a premier institution of the Methodist Church in India. It is one of the oldest colleges in the state where emphasis is on creating responsible citizens. Standing tall in the heart of the city, the institution focuses on high academic achievements for its students. It has constantly contributed towards the welfare of the society over a period of one hundred and sixty years of its empowering existence.
Education also refers to the knowledge received through schooling instruction and to the institution of teaching as a whole. The main purpose of education is the integral development of a person.

Our Facilities
Library
The College Library was situated earlier adjacent to the Intermediate Chemistry Department. In the year 1962, it was shifted to the Matthews Hall after it came into being by demolishing some portion of the O.C. Hostel. The Central Library of the college currently functions from the first floor of the Matthews Hall which houses the administrative block of the Degree College. Mr. S. M. Ahmad was the first librarian who served the college between 1936 and 1970. The Library boasts of several rare and iconic books and literature. There are more than 50000 books in the Library on various subjects which are available for the students as well as faculty members. The Central Library also houses an Archive which has some rare artefacts, photographs and instruments which speak of the glorious history of the College.
Computer Centre
The Computer Centre of the college caters to the needs of technological advancements in the college. The Centre not only provides for the Laboratory Facilities to the Students of B.Sc. (Computer Applications subject) but also to the students enrolled for different Computer programmes of IGNOU.
Sports Activities
Facilities are available for the encouragement of a high degree of excellence in games and sports . There is plenty of space for field events and games including a well-maintained athletic tracks. The Annual Athletic Meet is organised every year to inculcate the sportsman spirit in our students. The College organizes “Annual Football Tournament” annually. This is an Inter-faculty event. All the faculties participate in this Tournament. A Badminton Tournament is organized every year. This is an Inter-Faculty Tournament. One of the major and much awaited annual event of this College is the L.C.C. Inter-Faculty Cricket Tournament in which a team from each faculty participates. From the beginning of the Academic Session, the students thrive to participate in this Tournament. This Tournament is like an annual festival and students wait eagerly for this annual event.
Extracurricular Activities
“ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD”, is the motto of Lucknow Christian College. The college incessantly strives for the fulfillment of Aims and Objectives of the College, which includes receiving education in Christian environment, acts of charity, inculcating spiritual values and develop good moral character in youth, so as to enable them to make positive contribution to Nation-building.

Centennial High School
Centennial School building: The first School Building Came up in 1883.
The Reid Hall
The first College Building to be Known as Reid Christian College was Erected in 1891
The Sam Fairfield Hall
The Fairfiled Hall, Timely and timeless with 100 years old clock.
C. L. Bare Hostel
C. L. Bare Hostel is named after the principal Rev. C. L. who had served LCC for 17 long years.
The Badley Blocks
These two blocks were constructed in 1921 and werre dedicated to the memory of Dr. B.H. badley, The first Principal of the College.
The Warne Hall
The foundation stone of Warne Hall was laid by H.E. Harcourt Butler in 1921.
